Dr. Rasha Bassim is a Consultant Psychiatrist and Medical Director at Aspris Wellbeing Centre City Walk, Dubai, with over 20 years of psychiatric experience. She has treated patients across all age groups and has practiced extensively in Egypt, Kuwait, and the United Arab Emirates, where she has been based since 2013.
Dr. Bassim is a Professor of Psychiatry at Ain Shams University and an accomplished researcher, with more than 15 scientific publications in national and international journals and conferences. She has received the prestigious Okasha Award in recognition of her research contributions. She has also trained at the Institute of Psychiatry in Egypt, a WHO-collaborating center for mental health research and training.
Dr. Bassim believes in compassionate, patient-centered psychiatric care that integrates medical expertise with psychological understanding. She works collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to provide holistic, ethical, and evidence-based treatment, supporting patients in achieving long-term mental well-being and recovery.
