Ms. Ayisha Nazir Kakkottil is a DOH licensed Speech Language and Swallow Therapist ( MSc.SLP, B.ASLP ) with over 7 years of clinical and academic experience in the field of speech language and communication rehabilitation.
She specializes in working with individuals communication and Language disorders across lifespan, with a focus on neurodevelopmental communication needs, AAC-supported communication and adult language and cognitive communication disorders.

She is currently practicing at AlKalma Mental Health and Wellbeing Centre, Al Falah, Abu Dhabi delivering evidence based services within multidisciplinary and interdisciplinary care models. Her clinical experience includes assessing and treating diverse clinical populations (with speech, language, communication and swallowing disorders) across all age groups in clinical, hospital, educational, neuro-rehab and tele-rehabilitation setups.

Ayisha is deeply committed to promoting emotional wellbeing, self-advocacy, and functional independence by empowering clients through person-centered communication intervention.
