Ms. Regino is a licensed Occupational therapist with over 19 years of experience in the field of mental health and wellbeing. She specializes in child and adolescent therapy, with particular expertise in Sensory processing disorder, Autism Spectrum Disorder, ADHD, Feeding difficulties, Emotional dysregulation, Behavioral difficulties and relationship issues.
Throughout her career, Ms. Regino has worked across clinical, and educational settings, providing evaluation, and individualized evidenced based intervention. She is certified in Sensory Integration and Praxis Test (SIPT), SOS Feeding Approach Trained Clinician, ADOS-2 Certified, Advanced Mentored Clinician in Sensory Processing Disorder Level 1.
Ms. Regino is deeply committed in promoting functional emotional skills and wellbeing as well as empowering the client and their families to advocate for their needs. Her therapeutic approach integrates compassion, collaboration, and unconditional positive regard with cultural sensitivity in supporting the clients to use their unique abilities and be purposeful member of a diverse community.
Ms. Regino has been working with diverse clientele for almost 2 decades now and has evolved in providing treatment approaches that is based on individual differences as well as developmental and relationship based.
She has had the opportunity to meet and be part of the families ups and downs during the entire process of intervention. Her intentions are clear from the start, that it is a team effort, and this includes the client and their families, teacher(s), other caregivers and healthcare professionals seeing the client.
