Omar A. Smaik is a clinical Occupational Therapy Lead with over 17 years of extensive clinical and managerial
experience across leading healthcare and rehabilitation centers in the UAE and Jordan. His background spans
comprehensive adult and pediatric rehabilitation, dedicated to dramatically enhancing clients' quality of life,
independence, and overall physical and emotional wellbeing. He possesses deep expertise in neurological
rehabilitation, hand and upper-extremity therapy, and neurodevelopmental conditions, with a specialized clinical
focus on Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), ADHD, and Cerebral Palsy across the lifespan.
Omar is also an expert in rehabilitation equipment and a complex seating specialist. By uniting biomechanical
precision with functional design, he provides customized posture management, adaptive seating, and mobility
solutions that optimize comfort, prevent deformities, and support daily participation. Throughout his career
upholding CARF and JCIA excellence standards, Omar has designed sensory modulation protocols, executive
functioning interventions, and restorative therapies. Collaborating closely with multidisciplinary teams, he
